Jimmie Sue Wright, 86, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, April 30, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, in Ocilla, Georgia, with the Rev. David Biggers and Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in the Ocilla Cemetery with Brother Joey Veal officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, on Monday, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Wright was born August 8, 1931, in Irwinville, Georgia, to the late Pleamon H. & Jewell Morgan Hunter. She graduated from Pavo High School. Mrs. Wright was a former resident of Brunswick and Thomasville but lived all her married life in Ocilla. She was a farmer’s wife and a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and word searches. Mrs. Wright was a member of Holt Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Charles & Annette Wright of Harriman, Tennessee, Lamar & Brenda S. Wright of Ocilla and Susan & Joey Veal of Ocilla; grandchildren: April Greer & Perry, Scotty Wright & Julie, Carol Lynne Johnson & Jason, Valerie Horten & Bryan, Kyle Veal & Valerie, and Kevin Veal; great-grandchildren: Matilyn Wright, Branson Wright, Harlan Johnson, Hannah Horten, Bryce Horten, Kylie Horten and Adalyn Veal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Loyd Wright and a brother Drew Hunter.
