Bonnie Kay (Rankin) Powers, 72, of Louisville passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at her home.
Bonnie is a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church, Teamsters Local #89 and VFW Millcreek Post Auxiliary. She had retired from Brown Foreman.
Preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Allen Rankin; mother, Kathleen Smothers; sister, Donna Lynn Rogers.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edwin Earl Powers; two children, Sandra Gail Powers-Beahl (Donald) and Harvey Ray Powers (Tracy); two sisters, Clara J. Myers and Sarah Ann Ross; two brothers, Ronnie Allen Rankin and Ricky Dale Rankin; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; entombment in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday.
