Richard P. True Jr, 80 of Derry, NH passed away peacefully Thursday, April 26, 2018. Richard was born on March 1, 1938 in Boston, MA and proudly served his country with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of True Construction Company for years. He will be remembered for his love of family, friends, antique cars, motorcycles, camping and boating in Dalton, NH, as well as the value of a hard day’s work.
He is survived by his three loving daughters, Pamela Cooper, Sandra Amabello and Kristina Gendreau Zins, his many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as his sisters Carol Medeiros and Dorothy MacDonald. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Harriette and Richard P. True Sr., and one sister Thelma Mansfield.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 1 B Commons Drive #10, Londonderry, NH 03053 or a charity of one's choice.
