Obituary

Sandra Carmack Gunne, 75, went to heaven on April 24,2018. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sandy grew up in Anderson, IN, and graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology. She moved to Chicago and used her sociology background working at Cabrini Green for several years. She was dedicated to the people she helped. She moved on to an advertising agency where she met and later married Jack Gunne. They had one son, Mike, and they were married for 20 years until Jack's untimely death from a heart attack. After Jack's death, Sandy became a real estate agent and worked tirelessly for her church. She also worked for Jenny Craig where she won awards for excellence in sales. In 2000, she moved to Bradenton, FL, to take care of her mother who needed assistance. In Bradenton, Sandy met and married Roger Kipp and they were happily together for over 11 years. They loved to swing dance and entertained people wherever they danced.

Everyone enjoyed being with Sandy with her easy going personality and her wonderful sense of humor and play. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and caring sister and friend. She was an exercise enthusiast until her health stopped her, a terrific dancer, a fantastic cook and a superb bridge and card player. She also loved Scrabble, darts and games of all kinds and she usually won. Being with Sandy doing anything was a wonderful time.

Sandy is predeceased by her father William Paul Carmack, her mother Elsie Carmack and her first husband Jack Gunne. She is survived by her second husband Roger Kipp; her son Michael John Gunne; her sisters Pam Carmack Frazee of Carmel, IN; Diana Storhoff Young (Bill) of Bradenton, FL; Debbie Carmack Parson (Bill) of Anderson, IN; and Lisa Dusing (Gary Turner) of Anderson, IN.
