James Edward Nichols, 42, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 27, 2018, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating.
Mr. Nichols was born September 14, 1975, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late James Autry & Birdie Bell Nichols. He lived in the community most of his life and was a former resident of Orlando and Winter Garden, Florida. Mr. Nichols was an employee with the Ben Hill County Road Department as a tractor operator.
He is survived by his wife, Cecil VanVoorhis Nichols of Hahira; an aunt, Vivian Nichols of Fitzgerald and several cousins: Doug Shealey, Larry Shealey, Jamie Nichols and Cheryl Hippenstell.
