Jamey Richard Sanders, 35, of Tifton passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Edsel Young officiating. Jamey will be laid to rest at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Brett Williams, Lance Williams, Larry McBrayer, Matt Lewis, Chase Hall and Danny Rowland will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 28, 1982 in Tift County, Jamey was the son of Ricky Noel Sanders, Sr. and Jeanie Sharon Graham Sanders of Tifton. He had worked at Zaxby’s for the past 13 years. He loved computers and the Georgia Bulldogs. Jamey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert “Gene” Graham; and his paternal grandparents, Rev. James A. Sanders and Annie Laura Barnes Sanders.
In addition to his parents, Jamey is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary M. Touchton Graham of Tifton; one brother, Rick Sanders, Jr. of Tifton; and one sister, Stacey Bryant of Tallahassee, Florida.
