Violet Roberta (Skinner) Ridgway, 98, of Anderson, died April 19, 2018 at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson.
She was born on March 26, 1920 in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of Lex and Golda (Roberts) Skinner. She was a homemaker and attended Lone Oak Weslyan Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, attending Sunday School and reading.
She is survived by her children; Nondas (Melvin) Blair of Anderson and Patsy Trueblood of Fresno, California; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Henry Ridgway, a grandson, Ernie Blair, a great grandson, Dustin Pierce, a sister, Mary Nicholas, and a brother, Oran Skinner.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1pm at Lone Oak Wesleyan Church officiated by Pastor Bill Thompson. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the funeral at the church.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
