Thomas A. Desautels, 58, of North Oxford died Thursday, April 19th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus. He leaves his mother, Mary T. (Barry) Desautels; a sister, Anne-Marie Thompson and her husband, Richard of Charlton; several nieces and nephews and several close friends, Raymond Amis, David Krevosky and John Faubert. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret (Desautels) Dame.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Alphonse T. Desautels. Thomas was a master barber owning several area barber shops. Mr. Desautels served with the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Boston Bruins, the Patriots and the Red Sox. Thomas had a heart of gold, he was always happy and enjoyed telling jokes.
His funeral is Monday, April 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 12:00 PM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, April 22nd from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
