Obituary

Worcester- Richard A. Murray, 72, of Worcester, died Thursday, Nov. 10, in St. Vincent Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Dorothy A. (Gwozdz) Murray; a daughter, Lisa A. Murray of Worcester; three sisters, Barbara M. Kelly of Millbury, Caroline A. Chumsae of Shrewsbury, and Janice R. Dussault of Northborough; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Edward and Anna (West) Murray. He graduated from Commerce High School and Ward School of Business.
Mr. Murray worked for several Worcester area companies. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and his favorite hobbies were oil painting and playing piano.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, in the funeral home.
