Hollie Faith Mullis, 17, of Tifton passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, in the Sanctuary of Tifton’s First Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Roe officiating. Hollie will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Randall Waldrop, Alex Waldrop, Zack Waldrop, Melvin Mathis, Ben Mathis, Chad Mathis and Neal Mathis will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Tift County High School Ladies Choice Show Choir.
Born April 19, 2001 in Tifton, Hollie was the daughter of Henry Franklin “Hank” Mullis, Jr. and Carolyn Smith Mullis of Tifton. Hollie was a student at Tift County High School and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church. Her passion was the Ladies Choice Show Choir, which she had been a part of for the last two years. She loved the Lord; watching cooking shows and loved to cook. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Charlotte Smith and Henry “H. F.” and Louise Mullis.
In addition to her parents, Hollie is survived one brother, Jake Mullis of Tifton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ashley and Sean Coleman of Mississippi and Brooke Steverson and Tonya and Freddie Agelo, all of Tifton; one niece, Mya Agelo; and one nephew, Ian Agelo.
