Trudy Horn, 81, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2018. She was born in Germany and moved to the United States in 1958, where she later became a citizen. Trudy raised her family in Long Island, NY, then moved to Rhode Island in 1977, ultimately making West Warwick her home. Known for her wit, sense of humor, and candor, she was a force to be reckoned with. She will be remembered as a hardworking woman who was always there for family and friends. Trudy will be sorely missed by her family; her brother Hans Bednarz, her cousin Helga Hans, her children Susan Peabody, Karen Meara, and Michael Horn. She was a loving Oma to her grandchildren Rebecca, Jessica, Hillary, Becky, Christopher, Andrew, Megan, and Nicholas, and her great-granddaughters Hannah, Olive, and Anya. A life-long dog lover, Trudy is also survived by her beloved yorka-poo, Artie. She is predeceased by her sister Annelore vonTempelhoff. Trudy's life will be celebrated privately.
