Poteet, Dolores (Melear), 87, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.
She was retired from the Census Bureau and was a volunteer at the Baptist Health LaGrange.
Mrs. Poteet was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Brooks Poteet.
She is survived by her children, Michael Poteet (Hak), David Poteet (Linda), James Poteet (Denise) and Leigh Anne Bibelhauser (Tim); her grandchildren, Felicia Brown, James Poteet, Julie Poteet, Ashley Masterson, Nicole Embry, Christi Ellefson, Brad Poteet, Jessica Bailey, Madison Poteet, Jonathan Poteet, Michael and Bryan Watkins; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral service 12pm Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
