Christopher T. Temmallo
U.S. Air Force Veteran
TEWKSBURY: Christopher T. Temmallo, age 54, a resident of Tewksbury for 22 years, passed away unexpectedly in Melrose on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Crossley) Temmallo, with whom he would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on September 20, 2018.
Born in Boston on December 17, 1963, he was the son of Susan (Finnegan) Temmallo of Medfield and the late Robert P. Temmallo.
Chris was raised in Medford, attended Medford schools and graduated from Medford High School in 1981.
Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his honorable discharge from active duty on May 1, 1986, he was awarded the rank of Senior Airman.
He was employed as an equipment mechanic by the Crown Equipment Company and most recently at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial V.A. Hospital in Bedford.
Chris enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and his days coaching his children in the Tewksbury Youth Baseball, Football, Soccer, and Basketball programs.
He was a second dad to and loved by many of his children’s friends.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by four children, Brian C. Temmallo of Boxborough, Derek C., Taryn C. and Robert C. Temmallo all of Tewksbury; two sisters, Lisa T. Olmsted and her husband Dale, and Lauren M. Maunsell and her fiancé Don Meehan all of Walpole; his nephews and nieces, Kyle and Christopher Temmallo, Alex, Hayden, and Julia Olmsted, and Cameron, Owen, and Gavin Maunsell; also many extended family members and friends.
Chris was the brother of the late Robert P. Temmallo, Jr.
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 18, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be offered at the funeral home.
