Evans, GA - Stacy Kaye Joy, 41, entered her Heavenly Home on Friday, April 6, 2018. Happy, joyful, and with her beautiful smile, she joined her Lord in eternity.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the In Focus Church with Pastor Brent Garrard officiating.
Stacy deeply loved her Lord, her Family, her Church Family, her Friends, and her Co-Workers.
She loved books, had recently earned her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science, and she had been inducted into the national Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society (San Jose State University Chapter).
Stacy was a consummate cook, an organizer extraordinaire, and one you could always count on to give 110% effort in all she was asked to do.
Being in her presence one would always notice and experience her joy. JOY was a fitting last name for her!!! Her twinkling blue eyes, her enthusiasm for life, and her insatiable desire to take care of others will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Stacy was a loyal daughter and a devoted wife ---- but being “Mama Bear” to Asher was her heartbeat.
Waiting to see them in Heaven, she leaves behind her husband William Adam Joy, son Walden Asher Joy, parents Hobson M. and Sandra Simmons of Estill, SC, brother Michael Todd Simmons (Lindsey) of Long Creek, SC, nephew Evatt Simmons, maternal grandmother Helen Bass, step-son Jacob Joy, step-daughter Kayla Joy, and step-grandson Lexund Joy.
Stacy loved her Church Family, her Church, and was excited to see both of them grow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the In Focus Church Greater Building Fund, 562 Rountree Way, Evans, GA 30809.
