Obituary

Natalie J (White) Brooks age 87 of Needham formerly of Canton, passed away at Wingate in Needham on April 12th surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Thomas J. Brooks, Sr. Born in East Boston, she attended Boston Public Schools. Natalie worked for New England Telephone for many years prior to her marriage. Tom & Natalie Brooks lived in Hyde Park for 8 years before moving to Canton where they raised their four children. Natalie was an active member of St. Gerard Majella Parish attending Mass daily and serving as an Eucharistic Minister, Lector, CCD Teacher and a member of the Tuesday night prayer group. She was a talented artist, donating her art work to the church where they are still displayed. Natalie enjoyed playing tennis, and playing the piano. Above all else she adored spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Loving mother of Thomas J., Jr. & his wife Laura, & Kathleen M. Jeye & her husband Gregory, all of Needham, Kenneth J. & his wife Kimberly of VA & Jennifer J. Brooks & her husband Alexandre Tahan of NJ. Cherished grandmother of Thomas & Emily Brooks, Roksana & Michael Jeye and Seraphine Brooks-Tahan . Survived by her dearest sister Lorraine Bagley of MD and loving in-laws John & Mary Brooks of Newburyport. Also survived by her loving nieces, nephews and relations. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., CANTON, Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton, Tuesday morning at 10. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to "Our Neighbor's in Need" c/o St. Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington St., Canton 02021.
