The sexy, funny, red head was called home on March 16, 2018 at the age of 72.
Born April 10, 1945 in Boston to John and Gertrude McGinn (deceased).
She is predeceased by two sisters: Patricia King (Woburn, MA) and AnnMarie Paradis (Seminole, FL) and is survived by her two sisters Marylou (McGinn) Leshinski (Natick, MA) and Donna (McGinn) Jellison (Middleboro, MA).
She is survived by her three children: Michael Hamel and wife Cindy Hamel, Scott Hamel, and Patti Waleko (Hamel), five grandchildren: Justin Hamel, CoreyBeth Hamel, Miranda Hamel, Shane Hamel, and Ava Waleko, one great grandchild: Hallee Hamel. Also by two god children, twenty-one nieces and nephews and more great nieces and nephews.
To all that knew her Margie was a caring, loving person who touched the lives of everyone she met.
As a highly regarded mother and grandmother she created fond memories for co-workers, family, and friends.
She loved burnt hot dogs, cheese burgers, and taking naps in her car.
Getting her grooe on to the likes of Barry Manilow, ABBA, Donna Summer, and Cher, Margie didn't drink but always seemed to be the life of the party.
No matter the place, people, or occasion she would dress to the max...meanwhile never leaving home
without her slippers in her purse.
To know Margie was to know her "unique" personality her famous story about how she wanted to be waked...which of course wasn't allowed and that she would do anything for anyone at any time.
Margie was previously employed at New England Hand Associates, Framingham Orthopedics Association, and Framingham Police Department.
Margie did an over the moon job here and we wish her a safe and happy journey.
