Peggy Sue Heflin, 73, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at Pruitt Health Care of Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Sunday, April 15, 2015, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Cecil Burkett officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Valley Grove Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Heflin was born February 4, 1945, in Pearson, Georgia, to the late Leonard & Lucille Stone. She lived in the community most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Heflin enjoyed gardening and working in her yards. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Dan Heflin of Albany, Bobby Heflin of Fitzgerald, Roy Lee Heflin, Jr. of Ocilla and Anna Heflin of Fitzgerald; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and two brothers: Gene Stone & Carry of Fitzgerald and Bobby Stone & Linda of Lakeland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Heflin, Sr.
