Lynne Ann Molinari, age 48, passed away on April 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Jan. 4, 1970 in Springfield, a daughter of Elsie R. (Gilmour) Molinari of Springfield and the late Richard J. Molinari Sr. Lynne worked as a kennel assistant for the Good Dog Spot Grooming company for many years. She loved all animals. Lynne rescued and cared for many animals over the years, including those with special needs. Lynne and her family would like to thank METAvivor Metastic Breast Cancer Awareness, Research and Support for all they have done over the years. She leaves her brother Richard “Ricky” Molinari Jr. of West Hartford, CT; her sister Andrea Yargeau and her husband Dave of Watertown, CT; “adopted” sister Shelia Monette of Springfield; cousins Joanne Davis, Walter Davis, Thomas LaCross, Nancy LaCross and Aunt Judy Davis; and her beloved pet dogs Frankie, Mojo, Eddie, Miley and Lilian. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Monday, April 16, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. In the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St., Chicopee. A Memorial Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., A private burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery will take place at a later date.
