Antonio V. Melo. Age 82. Residence Warren, R.I. Died Tuesday at Crestwood Nursing Home. Born in Rabo de Peixe,Sao Miguel, Azores. Son of the late Manuel Pedro De Melo and the late Georgina (Pacheco) De Melo. He was a Warren resident for 7 years previously residing in Pawtucket for many years. Before retiring,he was a Machine Operator at Hasbro Co.
He is survived by Two Sons: Antonio Melo of East Providence., RI and Jose Melo of Pawtucket, RI. Three Daughters: Olivia Melo of Pawtucket, RI, Alice Grilo of Pawtucket, RI and Maria Marseglia of Pawtucket, RI. Three Grandchildren: Loris Sheats, Sandra and Michael Melo. Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Emidio, Manuel, Francisco, and Lionel De Melo and Beatrice Ledo.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. on Monday at 8:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church,Brayton Ave., Somerset, MA at 9:00 AM. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 3-5 P.M.
