Cynthia M. (Harrop) Borges, 76, of Westport passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Manuel J. Borges of Westport, formerly of Middletown, RI. Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late David and Ruby (Wordell) Harrop. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Hospital for their care and compassion.
Including her husband, survivors include a daughter: Dorothy Patrick of Warwick, RI; a step-brother: Eddy Whitehead of N. Kingstown, RI; 2 step-sisters: Shirley King of NC and Carole Ensly of WA; 2 granddaughters: Elizabeth and Christina Patrick; a great grandson: Aiden Patrick; and many nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Kenneth Whitehead.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10 AM.
Calling hours Sunday 2 - 6 PM.
Interment will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown, RI.
