CHICOPEE – Lisa Ann Desroches, 52, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, April 9, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on August 23, 1965, a beloved daughter of the late Lionel R. “Tatoo” Desroches and Doris T. (Roy) Desroches. She was raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and was a lifelong resident of the city. Lisa enjoyed embroidering, listening to music, and watching movies and Broadway musicals and plays. She was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee. She leaves her two loving sisters, Valerie J. Sawka and her husband, John, of Chicopee and Rachel J. Eaton of Chicopee; her three loving brothers, Robert R. Desroches of Chicopee, Joseph P. Desroches and his wife, Noreen, of Belchertown and Ronald D. Desroches and his wife, Violet, of Aurora, CO; and her many dear uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Desroches and Roy families. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her loving brother, Phillip J. Desroches who was Called Home in 1958. A memorial gathering for Lisa will be held by her family at a later date.
