Peter M. Scordas - age 49, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.
Long time resident of West Roxbury, MA, but more recently of Whitman, MA. Peter is the son of the late Mark Scordas and the late Kalliope Scordas (Mouyou) both from West Roxbury, MA. Peter is survived by his loving daughter Anna (Scordas) Porfert from Punta Gorda, FL.
Peter AKA DJ One Shot shared his passion for music with several others. His love for music radiated through his speakers at various events. Whether he was DJing at Stix and Stones of Abington, where you could find him spinning the latest hits on Wednesday Nights for beer pong. He also blessed Home Plate in Taunton, MA with a full dance floor most Friday nights.
If Peter wasn’t busy providing entertainment you could find him at various pool halls entering himself in tournaments or playing on a league. He would often share his knowledge and talent with anyone willing to learn.
To know Peter was to love him. To love him was to enjoy his presence. Peter prided himself in treating others as he wanted to be treated and was always willing to go the extra mile for a loved one or friend. He will be deeply missed.
Per his wishes he has been cremated and we will be honoring Peters life with a memorial service on Sunday, April 22nd at 12:30PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 11:30AM-12:30PM. A celebration of life to follow at Stix and Stones in Abington, MA.
