Daniel M. Drew, Jr. age 68 of Milton passed away suddenly April 8th. Born in Boston he was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Boston English High School and Northeastern University. He was a Boston Police Officer for many years, serving as a Patrolman, in Boston Harbor Patrol and in Special Operations before retiring in 2008. Dan enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Boater and a member of the Savin Hill Yacht Club.
Beloved husband of Brenda G. (Johnston). Father of Sarah E. Drew of S. Boston and Emma G Drew-Grablewski and her husband Michael of Milton. Grandfather of Jersey Grablewski. Brother in law of Leslie Morrison of Falmouth, Andrew Johnston and his wife Vicki Woodard of Somerville, Douglas Johnston and his wife Eileen of Weymouth. Also survived by his best friend Joseph Devlin and family of Braintree and several nieces, nephews and Cousins. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church Milton Friday Morning at 9. Burial Milton Cemetery.
