Jeannette E. (Chabot) McGrath, 90, of Westport passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River. She was wife of the late Leonard Shepardson and the late Peter McGrath.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Roland and Rose Alma (Beaulieu) Chabot, she had lived in Westport for 35 years. A Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, she loved her God and was a woman of strong faith. Mrs. McGrath enjoyed trips to Twin River and loved spending time with her family.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Catholic Memorial Home, especially Lori for their care and support.
Survivors include 2 sons: David R. Shepardson of Freetown and Steven L. Shepardson of Berkley; 2 daughters: Linda R. Ferro of San Jose, CA and Phyllis R. Panaggio of Westport; a sister: Doris Snyder of Taunton; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Roland Chabot, Donald "Bobby" Chabot and Juliette "Bella" Boudria.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11:00 AM.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the Potter Funeral Home, prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
