WESTBOROUGH- Thomas J. Hamparsoomian, Jr., 77, passed away peacefully in his home on March 31, 2018.
He was born in Worcester on September 6, 1941 a son of the late Thomas and Sophie (Niedzwicki) Hamparsoomian. Thomas attended local schools and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade. Following High School he went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hamparsoomian worked as an assembler for the General Motor Company for many years until his retirement. Later, he went on to drive truck for a variety of companies. Thomas was an avid fan of NASCAR and also enjoyed watching football.
He leaves his daughter, Rhonda Ledger of Worcester; his son, Thomas J. Hamparsoomian, III., of Manchoag; three grandchildren, Jack Ledger, Olivia and Kyle Hamparsoomian two sisters, Janice Donovan and Fawn Ianotelli, both of Worcester. Many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Thomas' Life Celebration on Friday, April 20th with visiting hours from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:30am.
