Simourian, Rose (Tatian), formerly of Watertown, April 5, 2018, age 91, born in Salem, MA. Loving daughter of the late Hoogas and Youkaper (Katchikian) Tatian. Devoted wife of the late Charles N. Simourian. For most of her life, Rose lived in Watertown, enjoying many social activities, golf and travel in the New England area with her husband Charlie and their beloved dog, FooFoo. Upon Charles’ death, Rose moved to Bedford where she was a volunteer with N.E. Deaconess Association and belonged to the Lexington Outlook Club. Rose was a long-standing member of the First Armenian Church in Belmont. Rose is predeceased by her sister Grace Yarumian, brothers Stephen and Toros Tatian and nephews Edward, Robert and Edgar Yarumian. She is survived by grandnieces/nephews Evlyn T Doyle, Constance Sukeforth Harrison and Robert A. Yarumian II of Maine and Peter E Yarumiam of Colorado along with many great grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation period will be held on Saturday from 10:30 - 11:00, immediately prior to the Prayer services. At the request of the family, cemetery services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Armenian Church, 380 Concord Avenue, Belmont, MA 02478. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the staff and nurses at the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their very kind and compassionate care during Rose’s stay there.
