Paul S. Antico 56, of Hopedale, died peacefully, with family at his side, Thursday April 5, 2018, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, following an illness. He was the beloved husband of Sandra A. (Leclaire) Antico.
Born December 5, 1961, in Norwood, the only son of Peter P. and Marilyn E. (Doyle) Antico, he was a former longtime resident of Franklin, until moving to Hopedale 18 years ago.
He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1979. Paul worked as an inventory manager for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
He enjoyed playing soccer, and was the former coach for Dean College women’s soccer team. He was passionate about his family; all the Boston sports teams, gardening, landscaping, golf and traveling.
Paul was a member of the “Parrot Head Club” and Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Hopedale.
In addition to his wife of 8 years, he is survived by, his children, Stephen R. Antico and his wife Kimberly of North Smithfield, RI, Daniel J. Antico of Woonsocket, RI, and Ashley E. Antico of Milford, 3 sisters; Anne Marie Durkot of St. Michael’s, MD, Karen E. Bonollo and her husband Thomas of Wrentham, Denise M. Buchanan of GA, 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, his brother in laws, sister in laws, extended family members and his co-workers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday April 14th, at 10:45AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 187 Hopedale St. Hopedale, MA at 12PM.
Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin will be held privately.
