Richard F. Magliozzi of Medford died on Thursday, April 5, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. A longtime Medford resident, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Torido) Magliozzi. Richard proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, after which he was employed as a truck driver.
Richard was the husband of the late Dawn M. Ferriera. He was the former husband of Nancy Magliozzi, and father of Rick Magliozzi of Cambridge and Traci Magliozzi of Somerset. Richard was the grandfather of Derrick and Maxwell.
Services will be private. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in Richard's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452, or St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
