FALL RIVER… David J. Rebello, Jr., 62, of Fall River passed away April 4, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
He was the longtime companion of Maria (Arruda) Goncalo.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of David Rebello of Freetown and the late Dorothy (Camara) Rebello.
Mr. Rebello worked in Maintenance at Charlton Memorial Hospital for 35 years prior to his retirement in 2016. He was a member of the Downshifter Antique Car Club of New England and enjoyed working on cars.
Along with his companion and father, survivors include his children: Mary Jo Goncalo of Fall River, Melinda Goncalo of New Bedford, Scott Goncalo and Christopher Goncalo, both of Fall River; his brothers: Michael Rebello of Enosburg Falls, VT, Bradley Rebello and his wife Sheila of Westport, Robert Rebello and Paul Rebello, both of Freetown; his grandchildren: Alex Goncalo, Ayla Goncalo, Aniyah Alfonso and Nolan Pimentel; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 10 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 9th from 5-8 PM.
