Ethelmay (Cormier) Grande, age 90 passed away April 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was a longtime resident of Brockton and moved to New Port Richey, FL in her later years. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (David) Cormier.
Ethelmay was a 1946 graduate of Brockton High School and retired from Good Samaritan Medical Center after many years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed playing cards and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
Ethelmay is survived by her children, Michael and Lynne Grande of Hudson FL, Patrick and Nancy Grande of Palmetto, FL, Joseph Grande of Taunton, Rose Green of Manchester, NH, Stephen and Debbie Grande of Raynham, Mark and Lynda Grande of Holiday, FL, Donna and Mitch LaFlower of Brockton, Tina and Charlie Pranskus of Raynham, Cindy and Brian Gareis of Hudson, FL and John and Kelli Grande of Bridgewater. She leaves 33 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Carey Lallemand and her 5 siblings.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St, (Rte. 123) Brockton on Friday, April 20, 2018, 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather in the funeral home at 8am on Saturday, April 21, 2018 for a 9am funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
