Silvano L. Micheli, 64 of Medford, died Saturday in his home following a brief illness. Born and raised in Oneta, Italy, he was the son of the late Carlo and the late Bianca (Tomei) Micheli. He was a Medford resident for eighteen years formerly of Boston´s North End. He worked for over thirty years as a tilesetter and was a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen Union Local 3. Silvano was an avid outdoorsman, whether at home in his garden or in the woods of New Hampshire and Maine hunting whitetail deer.
Silvano is survived by his wife Giovanna (Pascale) and three sons, Carlo of Swanton, VT, Rene and Mario Micheli of Dorchester. Stepfather of Alfredo Marangiello of Weymouth, Joseph and Silvio Marangiello of Pembroke. Grandfather of Jenna Micheli and step grandfather of Michelin Marangiello. Brother of Giancarlo Micheli of Hyde Park. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford/Somerville, at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 9.Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
