Cecile M. Filteau, 90 of Derry, NH died Monday April 2, 2018 in her home. Cecile was born in Manchester, NH on May 13, 1927. She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry Class of 1945. Cecile and her husband Al owned and operated Filteau’s Jewelers in Derry for 47 years. She was also a member of the Derry and Londonderry Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Desrochers and her husband Ronald of Bedford, NH, two grandchildren, Mark Desrochers and his wife Kirsten of Lee, NH, and Chad Desrochers and his companion Ashley Smith of Mt. Pleasant, SC, two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Desrochers and Carter Desrochers both of Lee. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert L. Filteau in 2002, and by her great grandson, Aidan Desrochers in 2004.
Following cremation, a calling hour was held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 10 – 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Memorial services began at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
