Obituary

EAST BROOKFIELD: Edmund A. LaFlamme, Sr., 80, of Podunk Rd., died Sunday, April 1 at his home.

He was the husband of Jean A. (Radzinski) LaFlamme who died in 1992. He leaves his son, Edmund A. LaFlamme, Jr. of E.Brookfield, his sisters Essa Lapierre of Spencer and Frances LaFlamme of E. Brookfield, his companion Debbie Waugh of E.Brookfield, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by three brothers and a sister.

Ed owned and operated Ken's Service Station in East Brookfield for 54 years, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed golfing, playing the organ, singing and restoring cars. He also served on the East Brookfield police and fire departments.

Born in Leicester, he was the son of Edmund and Stella E. (Mondor) LaFlamme.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 6 at 11 am. in St. John the Baptist Church, No.Brookfield Rd., E.Brookfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701. J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, is assisting the family with arrangements.
