Beverly (Rezendes) Machado, 75, of New Bedford passed away peacefully April 2, 2018 at home. She was the wife of Daniel Machado.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary (Pimental) Rezendes, she lived in New Bedford all of her life. Mrs. Machado retired in 2005 after over 35 years of service as a Clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
She is survived by her husband; her son, Nathan Machado of New Bedford; her daughter, Mary Rose Gomes and her husband Sean Gomes of New Bedford; three grandchildren, Kloe Gomes, Riley Gomes, and Mason Gomes, her sister, Cynthia Lundrigan of Fairhaven; two sisters-in-law, Mary Machado of Fairhaven and Arlene Machado of New Bedford; her brother-in-law, Antone Rebello of Jupiter, FL; her aunt, Gilberta Rezendes of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be on Friday April 6, 2018 at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 4-7 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
