New Bedford – Adeline (Luiz) De Sousa, age 93, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at The Oaks. She was the wife of the late Jose Antonio De Sousa and the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria G. (Mendes) Luiz.
She had worked for many years as a stitcher for several local clothing factories and she had been a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital for over 30 years.
She is survived by her godchild, Diane; 2 sister-in-law’s; 1 brother-in-law; as well as several nieces and nephews.
As per Adeline’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
