Raymond R. Glaude, 76, of Derry, NH, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born in Lowell, MA on September 21, 1941, a son of the late Arsene and Irene (Sylvester) Glaude. Ray worked as a house painter until his retirement from Don Haberman and Sons. He enjoyed working on older cars.
He is survived by his wife Linda Glaude of Derry, one son, Carl Glaude of Las Vegas, NV; three step-sons, Paul Sylvester and wife April of Hudson, NH, Mark Sylvester and wife Marianne of Merrimack, NH, and Louis Sylvester, Jr. of Derry; two step-daughters, Anne Marie Clohesy and husband Donald of Lowell, MA and Mary Legare of Derry; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Richard Glaude of Derry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Leo Glaude, Albert Glaude and Roland Glaude and one sister Pauline Glaude.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours were held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. After the calling hours, friends gathered back at the family’s home in Derry.
