Linda M. (Thompson) Tishler, 61, of Londonderry, NH became an angel on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was born September 26, 1956 in Dorchester, MA, the daughter of the late Rita (Langlois) Guilmette. She was raised and educated in Salem, NH before moving to Londonderry in 1978.
Linda was self-employed along with her husband Don, as the partners of Professional Tax Consultants, but she always proclaimed to be the boss.
She was a very talented crafter, making many things from junk, and turning them into treasures by using many methods, including clay sculpting and created many different Christmas decorations.
The times she enjoyed most in her life were all the times she coached youth sports with Don, for the hundreds of kids over the years in baseball, softball, and soccer, making special yearbooks for all the kids and having special team parties to make their experiences memorable. She was very involved in politics, spending much time on Facebook expanding on how lunatic Republicans, and especially Trump are.
Members of her family were her husband of over 40 years, Donald A. Tishler; and her two children which her life was dedicated to as an unrelenting mother, Lindsey and her husband Dan McLeod, and Derek Tishler ; they were her true purpose in life. Two grandchildren, Cameron McLeod and Kacey McLeod; a sister and her husband Sharon and Russ DeSantis; a sister in law, Joyce Thompson; brother and sister in law, Gary and Susan Tishler; several nieces, Brenda Murray, Marcia Grieco, Tammy Westerlund, Melissa Tishler-Whitman, and Melissa Desantis; and nephews, David Rice, Chris Flessas, James Thompson, Jr., Aaron Tishler, Brian Tishler, and Chris Desantis. She was predeceased by her sister and brother in law, Carol and James Flessas, and her brother, James Thompson.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, April 4th from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Catholic prayer service was held at 6:00pm during calling hours. Cremation followed the services.
