FALL RIVER – Jesse Carvalho, Jr., age 69, passed away on March 30, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Jesse and Angelina (Camara) Carvalho. Prior to retirement Jesse worked for the MA Dept. of Corrections for over 25 years, retiring as Sargeant. He loved fishing and hunting and was an avid fan of all New England Sports.
Jesse is survived by his girlfriend Sharon Vieira of Fall River; sister Diane Duclos (husband Thomas) of Fall River; nieces Sharon E. Soares and Kimberly A. DeGrazia. He was predeceased by his son Jesse Carvalho IV.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Wednesday with extended calling hours from 9:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Cathedral at 11:00 A.M.
