Duclerc Boursiquot was born in 1934 in Duré a small village of La Vallée de Jacmel he was one of five children to the late Normil and Valérise Boursiquot and was the beloved husband to the late Yvonne Boursiquot for over 40 years.
They both moved to Tuff where they started their lives and family together. Duclerc passed away peacefully at his home in Roslindale, MA where he spent his last days with all his children. He will forever be remembered and cherished by them Marie Lourdes, Hughes, Wanses, Godfroy, Loïque, Armelle, Andrea, Wilson, and Wanio and treasured by his grandchildren Kaytelle, Aïsha, Rajhamina, Yvlydnie, Jefferson, Naëva, Niajah, Walens, Cedrick, Madyuf, Mayud, Chloe, Liam, Fallon, Lorissa and one great grandchild Thomas along with countless other friends and family members whom were blessed to know him.
Duclerc was also a father figure to many others throughout his lifetime as well as a counselor to everyone in his community in Haiti where he provided support, guidance, and wisdom. Duclerc worked as a farmer on his farm in Haiti to provide and to send his children to school. Once his children grew up and moved on with their own lives he stayed in La Vallée de Jacmel with his wife and continued to work and provide for his family and a counselor for his community.
Then in 1997 him and his wife moved to Roslindale, MA where they established a new chapter in their lives in the United States where he met more people to adored him.
Duclerc loved being with his family and friends cracking jokes and laughing. He enjoyed going to church every Sunday and praying daily. He also enjoyed playing lottery, dominos, and when he went back to Haiti he loved being on his farm, horse back riding, and going to hen fights. Duclerc touched so many lives with his smile, personality, wisdom and strength. He maintained his sense of humor all the way to the end with his children, grandchildren and great grandson and for that he is truly happy to finally reunite with wife and watch over them all.
