New Bedford – Charles R. Moniz, 60, of New Bedford passed away March 28, 2018 at Care One at New Bedford.
Mr. Moniz was born in Trenton, New Jersey, son of Toshiko (Fujisaki) Moniz of New Bedford and the late Joseph Moniz, Jr. He resided in New Bedford for the past 10 years. Charles loved his work, playing guitar, rollerblading and going to the beach.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter: Holly Maneval of Crestview, Florida; his son: Joseph C. Moniz of New Bedford; 2 sisters: Lillian Connor of New Bedford and Mary A. Robinson of Acushnet; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Charles was surrounded by the love and support of his family in his last days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
