Devoted father of Jesse Ortendahl and his wife Lisa of Medfield, and Andrew Ortendahl, originally of Needham. Loving grandfather of Stephen Jens Ortendahl and Anna Marie Ortendahl. Brother of Carol Engdahl. Brother-in-law of Jeff Kirsch. Lover of sports, books, music, and his family. Talented mechanical engineer for more than 40 years.
Visiting hours in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Friday, April 6th from 7-9pm. A graveside service will be held at Needham Cemetery, (Intersection of Nehoiden St. and Parish Rd.) on Saturday, April 7th at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
