Ann Marie (Batch) Lapierre, age 66, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Mar 29, 2018. She was born on Apr 23, 1951 in Holyoke to the late Frank and Constance (Turconi) Batch. Ann Marie worked for over 30 years as a school bus driver for Lay Law Bus Co. She was a member of the Pioneer Valley Chapter8 and also the North American Family Campers Association. She leaves two sons Michael J. Lapierre and his wife Shannon of Claremont, NH and Mark J. Lapierre of Springfield, one sister Alexandria Johnson of CT; one brother in law Ken Lapierre of Agawam and six grandchildren Mark Jr., Auriana, Joshua, Jayden, Branden and Chloe. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald J. Lapierre who passed away in 2013; one son Anthony Lapierre who passed away in 2017; two brothers Paul and Jim Batch and one sister Sharlene Crane. Calling Hours will be held on Tues, Apr 3, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee, MA 01013. A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs, Apr 5, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
