Age 85 of Maplewood died March 29th from complications of COPD.
Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Helen Lyon and an infant sister Jean Elna. Survived by her loving children Rick, Jim and Jeanne (Bob). Joan was a graduate of Harding High School, and of 916 VoTech where she excelled in Early Childhood Development and went on to make many lifelong friends at the YMCA daycare center. She was a charter member of Jobs Daughters Bethel #54. Joan was a lover of life, her children and family and friends, her dog Sami, photography, her amazing rose gardens, and all things beautiful and pink! Memorial Service 11 AM Wednesday, April 4, at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, MN, with a visitation at 10 AM prior to the Service. Lunch to follow at K & J Catering. Private Interment.
