Frances P. (Sanborn) Hutchinson – Korzeniewski, 90, of Peabody, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Fred F. Korzeniewski.
Born and raised in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lydia (Kendrick) Sanborn.
Frances was a graduate of Marblehead High School and was employed for many years by The Lafayette nursing home in Marblehead. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
She is survived by a son, Edward Hutchinson and his wife Janice of Gifford, IL, two grandchildren Lori Peace of Marblehead & Nathan Hutchison and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Irene Gamble of Beverly, a step-daughter, Linda Prue and her husband Michael of Bradford, two step-sons, Robert Korzeniewski and his wife Dandy of Great Falls, VA, Richard Korzeniewski and his wife Anita of Boxford, four step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son L. Frank Hutchinson, sisters, Barbara Williams, Carolyn Russell, Charlotte Wood and brothers, Roy & Clarence Sanborn.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [ Route 114 / 1-A ] Salem on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM to be followed by her funeral service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. A committal service of her ashes will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
