Betty Jean (Gaus) “Betts” Gregory, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
She retired from J. C. Penney after 28 years of service. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was loved and will be missed by all.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Marie Gaus; and siblings, John “Willie” Gaus, Kenny Gaus and Beverly “Toots” Gibson.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 67 years, Kenneth Earl Gregory; children, Donna Hayes (Gary), Jackie Jewell (Steve), Kenneth Gregory, Jr. (Chris), Steve Gregory (Debbie) and Bobby Gregory (Sherry); ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brothers Michael (Sandy) and Ricky Gaus; sisters, Sharon Blakeman (Ronnie), Joy Carol Wright (Tommy) and Lisa Mercer (Perry); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday.
