Raymond E. Braley, Jr., 80, of New Bedford died March 27, 2018 peacefully at Sacred Heart Home after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Ruth D. (Roy) Braley.
Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Raymond E. and Marjorie (Cobb) Braley, he lived in Fairhaven before moving to New Bedford.
Mr. Braley was formerly employed as a security guard at the North Dartmouth Mall and Hoytte Corporation in Westport.
He enjoyed watching TV.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Brenda Braley Dees of Lake Wales, FL and Paula Dean of Torrington, CT; a sister, Beverly DeSouza of Washington, DC; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the step-father of the late Brenda Jalbert and the brother of the late Paul Braley.
His funeral services will be private.
