FALL RIVER… Donald E. Jeffries, 65, of Fall River passed away March 27, 2018 at his home following a long battle with Brain Cancer.
Born in Fall River, he the son of Thomas E. Jeffries of Fairhaven and the late Annette (Levesque) Jeffries. He had been a lifelong resident of Fall River.
Mr. Jeffries was a veteran of the United States Army, The United States Army National Guard and the United States Airforce. He worked as a Custodian in the Fall River Public School System for many years and enjoyed collecting movies and working on cars.
Along with his father, survivors include his sisters: Jeannette Jeffries of Fall River and Susan Jeffries of Fall River; his brothers: Gerard Jeffries of Westport, David Jeffries of Swansea, Thomas Jeffries of New Hampshire and Richard Jeffries of Fall River; many nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Thomas E. Jeffries, Jr. and Robert Jeffries.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:45 AM at South Coast Funeral Home 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Veteran’s Cemetery in Bourne. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9 – 10:45 AM, prior to the funeral.
