FALL RIVER… Marlene E. (Mellor) Dube, 83, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset passed away March 24, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Omer J. Dube.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Emma (Barnes) Mellor.
Mrs. Dube was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s Parish in Fall River and worked for 28 years as a Salesperson for Dumont Jewelers and Mullen Brother’s Jewelers, retiring in 1999. She was an avid New England Patriots Fan and enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo. She devoted her life to her husband and children.
Survivors include her daughters: Cynthia Pelletier of Fall River and Cheryl Dube of Fall River; her son: Scott J. Dube of Fall River; her sisters: Leola Aubin of Plainfield, CT and Carol Loranger of Westport; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dolores Kiley.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:30 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Bernadette’s Parish, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River, MA. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 9 – 10:30 AM, prior to the funeral.
