John A. Moson, 77, of Little Compton, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Grand Islander Center with his family by his side. He was the husband of Joyce C. (Wordell) Moson.
Mr. Moson was born in Atlanta, GA, son of the late Walter G. and Amelia H. (Giza) Moson and had resided in Little Compton for over 45 years. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner/operator of John's Texaco. Mr. Moson enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Along with his wife survivors include his 2 sons: John A. Moson, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Middletown and Marc A. Moson and his wife Elizabeth of NY; 4 grandchildren: Ava, Sophie, Benjamin and Oliver; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5-7:30 P.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
