Charles J. Murch, 83, of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Aurora Senior Living in Derry, NH. He was born on May 5, 1934 in Franklin, ME, a son of the late Charles and Phyllis (DeBeck) Murch. Charlie worked for Sanders Corp until 1972 when he opened the White Horse Tavern in Milford. Being a savvy businessman, Charlie went on to own the Signers House in Merrimack, NH as well as open his own engineering company, Murch Manufacturing. He was an avid car enthusiast, especially luxury cars. Charlie also was a gifted classical guitar player and enjoyed remodeling and renovating homes.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Kim Murch of Bridgton, ME, three granddaughters, Shelby Murch, Taylor Murch and Lindsay Murch, one great granddaughter, Adalyn Faith Doty, two brothers, Wayne Murch of Franklin, ME and Sydney Murch of Merrimack, NH; one sister, Dolores York of New Jersey, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Frederick Murch in 2013 and three sisters, Leona May, Marilyn Haslam, and Irene Soper.
There are no calling hours. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date in Maine.
